Sample one
This is a chart, which presents the number of men and women in full-time education or part-time education in Britain in three periods, 1970,1980 and 1990.
According to this chart, the number of men in full-time education fell sharply from 1970/71 to 1990/91, and then rose slowly form 1980/81 to 1990/91. Whereas, there was an upward trend in the number of women who had full-time education from 1970/71 to 1990/91 and soared to a record high of more than 1200 thousand in 1990/91.
Compare with the number of people taking full-time education, no matter men or women, the number of people taking part-time education is larger than that of full-time education in every period. The number of male in part-time education rose steadily, from about 100 thousands in 1970/71 to more than 200 thousand in 1990/91. While, there was a very sudden increase in the number of female who took a part-time education form 1970/71 to 1980/81, and then ascended slowly from 1980/81to 1990/91.
Sample two
The chart above shows the changing proportion of workers in the labor force from 1830 to 1970. There are two occupations in the chart, respective (respectively) farmer and non-farmer. According to this chart, the proportion of farm workers is large than the proportion of nonfarm worker, but it is inverse in 1970.
As can be see from the chart, the percent of people who served in farm dropped steadily from about 70% in 1830 to a record low of around 10% in 1970. While, the percent of persons working for nonfarm areas was approximately 30% in 1830, and exceeded the percent of farm workers by a ratio of 3 to 2 in 1890. That means 60% workers serving in nonfarm and 40% persons in farm. From then on, this percent increased gradually. Finally, the figure peaked at quite 90% in 1970.
Sample three
This is a bar chart which shows the petroleum production and petroleum consumption in seven different regions. According to the bar chart, there is uneven in these regions
It is clear that the area who produced the largest petroleum, more than 15,000,000 barrels per day, is Middle East. And the least one in Australia and Asia, they produce only about 4,000,000 barrels every day. The other regions, from the second largest, respectively are Europe, U.S.A & CA, Latin and Africa.
Compare with produced petroleum, the area of the largest consumed petroleum is not Middle East, the area of the largest produced petroleum, but Europe, the second one, around quite 24,000,000 barrels per day that is far more than it produced 14,000,000 barrels everyday. The next respectively are U.S.A & Canada, Asia, Australia, Latin, Africa and Middle East. And three of them consumed more petroleum than they produced, namely U.S.A & Canada, Asia and Australia.
